It’s important to remember that whenever you eat a meat product, you’re eating everything ingested by that animal. Eating foods raised in modern, factory-like settings means ingesting growth hormones, pesticides and a myriad of antibiotics. None of these have any place in your body or in our restaurant. All of our organic and all-natural, free-range meats are grass-fed and pasture raised, giving them a melody of robust, hearty flavors that simply cannot come from animals reared in an industrial feedlot. When an animal is raised in its natural environment, it’s going to taste better. Organically grown fruits and vegetables tend to be juicier, sweeter and riper. Almost everything in our Bareburger restaurants are built from a sustainable and reclaimed material. The tabletops are crafted from trees felled by storms. Our booths are made from recycled, post consumer vinyl. Our ceilings are paneled with reclaimed tin siding from deconstructed barns. Most of our takeout products are made with plant resin or recycled paper products, and all of them (even the bags) are biodegradable.

The Ale House is proud supporter of the craft beer movement as evidenced by our 31 draft beers featuring a constantly rotating selection of ales and lagers both locally produced and from around the globe. The name “Sanctuary T” was inspired by owner Dawn Cameron’s goal to provide customers with a brief retreat from the clamor of city life, centered around the rituals and sensuousness of tea.Opened in August 2007, Sanctuary T offers a new concept in contemporary dining – where people can unwind and relax for an extended time in a cozy and friendly environment. Our exceptional cuisine, artisanal tea blends and signature cocktails have earned us international acclaim, having been featured on The Martha Stewart Show, CW11, Elle Hong Kong, The Nikkei, The New York Times, and many other broadcast shows and publications. Sanctuary T is proud to announce that it was recently named one of the top 50 healthiest, tastiest places to dine in New York City by Clean Plates NYC. Sanctuary T is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and brunch seven days per week. Sanctuary T is also available for its signature afternoon tea daily from 3 pm until 5 pm by reservation only.

In the Munch Ado community, 809 Bar+Grill is known for being an unknown. Its signature clandestine style has made it a favorite among Munchers. All we know for sure is 809 Bar+Grill accepts currency in exchange for food and services and they have at least four walls made out of some kind of material. It’s also very likely they have both a ceiling and a floor. If you know anything about this elusive and possibly eclectic restaurant, please do let us know by emailing Stories@MunchAdo.com with the subject line “809 Bar+Grill”.
