Piccola cucina is philip guardione’s gift to New York. After working in lauded restaurants across europe, guardione chose a lovely tree-lined street in Soho to open an intimate restaurant inspired by his homeland of Sicily. Walking into the restaurant is like stepping into a jewel box. The subtle, elegant décor lets the vibrant tastes and colors of the food and wine shimmer and shine. After a few years focused entirely on traditional lunch and dinner menus, the native Italian team at piccola cucina has expanded their hours, converted from a restaurant into an osteria, and refocused their menu. Rather than stop by every so often for a robust meal, the small-plates, seafood focused menu allows for more frequent tastes and sips. Plus, the restaurant is now open at 8am during the week and 9am on weekends to give its clients a taste of a true sicilian breakfast.

Rizzos Fine Pizza
Word steadily spread about Rizzo's unique, delicious pizza, catching the attention of some of New York's most prominent and respected food critics, and eventually garnering the esteem of more than five generations of loyal customers. Almost unheard of in the industry, their little store is still owned and operated by the same family nearly 50 years later, and those same slices continue to win over new devotees every day. Onieals
Set in a neighborhood that for more than a hundred years was the knife’s edge of wealth, corruption, poverty and crime – Onieals Soho is a distinctive blend of yesterday and today’s modern sophistication. Onieals is located directly opposite the old Police Headquarters that held legendary criminals from 1909 – 1973. The Onieals building operated as a center for pleasurable crimes in such close proximity. Its former occupants include a brothel, a speakeasy, and a gambling parlor. In the early part of the 20th century, the system was so corrupt that a tunnel was built underground to connect the two buildings so that uniformed NYPD officers and officials could step across the street for some cheer undetected.



Pisticci
Pisticci is a bustling Italian trattoria named after our home town in the Basilicata. Gato
GATO is Chef Bobby Flay's expression of Mediterranean food, drink, and design. The NoHo location is a 100-year-old building, and GATO is the first restaurant to reside there. GATO combines its NYC roots with a European sensibility and has a casual approach, a bustling environment, and a dedicated passion to its cuisine. The name GATO was inspired by a mysterious orange cat that walked through Mr. Flay's feet on Lafayette Street while he was waiting for a real estate broker to show him the space for the first time. The cat has not been seen since, but his initial appearance has made a permanent impression.

The Writing Room
The Writing Room is about fun, entertainment, great cuisine, cultivated cocktails and wine list that focuses on grape variety education. We are fine dining, but causal in our approach, letting hospitality shine through in every step of service. We are open for Lunch, Brunch and Dinner. The restaurant seats 130 with an additional 15 at the zinc wrapped bar. The design concept of The Writing Room, which includes an open kitchen flecked with subway tiles in the bar room, takes diners back to a simpler time while paying specific homage to the former Elaine’s and the literary following the place inspired. The Glick’s used raw materials evoking both a vintage and literary feel. The main dining room has reclaimed wood floors, rich leather banquets accented by custom-made pendant lighting above and textured red brick walls. The menu focuses on regionally driven American cuisine. Items such as the Farmer’s Salad, Baby Back Ribs, Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Shellfish Stew to name a few. Cafe Un Deux Trois
Has been located in the heart of Times Square since 1977. We opened when the neighborhood was quite rough, and soon became the spot to stop for dinner and drinks before heading off to Studio 54 and Xenon to dance the night away.We were and still are frequented by American and European theater and film actors, as well as politicians, directors, local New Yorkers and tourists from around the world. You will find many a Broadway cast and crew member hanging out after the show on any given night.We recently had a facelift featuring enormous windows and a new color scheme.
